Infrared Artist
about brecky
"Through the eyes of a independant contractor."
Infrared cameras only detect thermal radiation, and the detectors can only the first 1/1000 of an inch from absolute zero.

"Fun fact, thermal cameras do not see through clothes, skin, walls and
other things."
uniquely me
My joy of infrared thermography began right after high school in 1984. A friend of mine introduced it to me and then started his own company servicing businesses like our U.S. Military, large hotel chains, hospitals, and more. His services included preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, roof moisture assessments, heat loss detection, and research. I worked as an office assistant, helping to build their brand, Colbert Infrared Services, while also working as a certified thermographer. I spent several years there before moving out of the Seattle area to expand my graphic knowledge by studying graphic design and web design. I then started a business offering event services to corporate clients like Amazon, Facebook, and Microsoft, all while utilizing my graphic skills to build my own brand.
Years later, in 2020 I invested in an infrared camera for temperature measurement (fever screening) equipment during the COVID-19 outbreak. After sitting in my closet for a few years, my infrared camera is now back in action, but on a more positive note. I have transitioned from temperature measurement screening to visual arts and film.
I graduated as a Multimedia Interactive Technologies Designer with an emphasis on Digital Graphics. I am also the owner and operator of ContoursFx a visual arts and entertainment services company. I am seeking contract work in the arts as an infrared digital photographer or videographer, as well as in the graphic design and party service needs.
