About Us
ContoursFx is a Pacific Northwest based artist collective--or more informally--it is the Bihary Family who have worked together for over twenty years to bring color and joy to some of the most prolific companies in the world, as well as our local communities in one of the most beautiful (albeit greyest) regions in the United States.

Small origins and big smiles
ContoursFx was first created by couple Brecky and Dutch Bihary in Mount Vernon Washington in 2006 during the economic recession out of a need to take care of their family. What resulted was a lasting legacy of professionalism and creativity that has celebrated familys and family companies for twenty years. They are grateful and honored to be trusted time and again with annual community events and to celebrate the little (and big) things in life with companies and families around the region and to teach other aspiring artists around the world!
Our Timeline
2006-2010
Colorific Kids is born.
With two little girls, Dutch and Brecky Bihary were entering the most crucial years as parents, as well as the biggest economic recession simultaneously. Companies that promised loyalty turned their backs, and the Biharys had to look to their community. Brecky Bihary knew that her husband was an experienced artist and could handle a paintbrush. Dutch Bihary first painted faces at a local pumpkin patch in October of 2006, and the rest is history.
2010-2020
ContoursFx and Full Swing Artistry.
ContoursFx became the new name after the company decided wanted to broaden it's horizons into other artistic mediums. As the owners children began to grow and age into young adults, their penchant for artistry also helped the company evolve into it's more matured form. These years were where longstanding community relations were forged and maintained, and where Dutch Bihary went from regional to global artistry and education.
2020-2026
Rebuilding after Covid.
Regardless of personal perspective on what happened surrounding the Corona Virus, it's undeniable that many companies began to struggle. When the world stopped in it's tracks, nobody could be closer than six feet apart making our business impossible to continue. Now that things are back to normal, ContoursFx is able to return with a new look, but that same old fashioned artistic passion.
