Our Services & Expertise

• What kind of events do you handle?
  We specialize in professional face and body art for a wide range of occasions. This includes high-energy children's birthday parties, school Grad Nights, festivals, and large-scale corporate events. We are equally skilled at painting for children as we are providing sophisticated, festival-style body art for adults.

• How many guests can you paint?
  Our services are scalable to fit your needs. We comfortably handle intimate gatherings of 10 guests up to large-scale events with 250+ guests. For larger crowds, we focus on high-impact, efficient designs to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience. We also offer airbrush temporary tattoo, flash or metallic tattoo and  glitter glam for FAST TURN-AROUND needs.

• Do you do special effects, mural artwork or 3D art ?
  Yes! As seen on the TV series Skin Wars, Dutch Bihary and our team specialize in world-class 3D blacklight attractions, special effects (SFX), and illustrative body art that goes far beyond standard "cheek painting." We don't advertise this option but it is available by request.

Booking & Logistics

• How do I get a quote or estimate for my event?
  Fill out the intake or inquiry form and send it to contoursfx@gmail.com. 
   

• Where do you travel?
  We are based in Mount Vernon (98273) and are currently focusing on serving our local community.Complimentary Travel: Within 40 miles of 98273 (includes most of Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish counties).
   

• Extended Travel: A flat $50 travel fee applies for locations between 41–55 miles away (e.g., Lynnwood, Edmonds, or Shoreline).
   

• What do you need for setup?
  To provide the best service, we require a 5'x5' flat space with overhead cover (if outdoors) to protect the artists and materials from the elements. We also require one sturdy table and two chairs. We will confirm in your booking if we are bringing our own professional-grade furniture or if the venue will provide it.
   

• How do I secure my date?
  To officially block out your date on our calendar, we require a 50% retainer. Please note that 25% of this retainer is refundable up to two weeks prior to your event.

Professionalism & Safety

• Is your paint safe for skin?
  Absolutely. We maintain the highest industry standards by using only FDA-compliant, cosmetic-grade materials. Our paints are specifically designed for use on the skin and are easily removed with soap and water.
   

• Are you insured?
  Yes. Contours FX is fully insured, which is a standard we maintain for all our clients. Whether we are at a local backyard party or working with major partners like Amazon and Microsoft, we bring the same level of professional protection and peace of mind.
   

• How do I get a quote?
