Professional Face Painting

We have a wide variety of face painting designs that are perfect for every child... and adult!
Q: How many face paintings can an artist do per hour?
A: This is a tough question as each artist has a different way of painting even if it is a face painting selection that multiple artists are capable of executing. Here is a low average: very simple cheek-art designs 2-5 mins; detailed cheek-art 10 mins; simple half-face designs 5-10 mins; detailed half-face designs 15 mins; simple full-face designs 15 mins; detailed full-face designs 20-30 mins. So you see, there are many factors to this question.
Q: Is it product safe?
A: Yes, it is skin-safe, non-toxic and lead free.
Q: What’s the best age group?
A: All ages love face painting. We have gone as young as 2 years old. It all depends on the temperament of the child. Older adults love to get them too! For corporate events we can theme the designs.
Q: How long will the face paint last?
A: Washes off immediately with soap and water. Lasts up to the end of the day if not smudged, scratched, or otherwise (offering touch ups is dependant on the scale and scope of the event and up to the artist's discretion).
Q: How do I care for my face painting?
A: Best is to not let anything touch it even clothing. No sunscreen or moisturizers on first or on after as it will remove the artwork. A clear face is a good base!
Q: How do I remove it?
A: Best is to take and sudsy hand and massage the area until it looks muddy then rinse off with warm water. With larger full face makeups and paintings using lots of red, green, or blue, or with those who have dry skin, it is often reccomended to do another gentle pass with soap and water.

Q: How many face paintings can Dutch Bihary do per hour?
A: These face paintings are hand crafted and free handed entirely by our lead artist, Dutch Bihary. His work is known best for it's lifelike depth and detail. It's sure to make anyone double take. As these designs are more detailed and often specific, left-field custom requests, they often take longer than our general Professional Face Painting service. However, Dutch is known for his speed so often expect between 10-40 minutes depending on the size and level of detail.

A: All ages love face painting. For these designs specifically however, Dutch Bihary often provides this services for Corporate and private like weddings and holiday parties (we do not offer our services on the day, we do apologize). As such, this service is best suited for adults who are capable of sitting still for longer periods of time or those who are 16+

A: Average is 30. All depends on the number of choices that are available to the client. The more options it can sometimes take them a bit longer to choose.
